Darren started his career over 20 years ago as a programmer and worked his way in to creativity, advertising, and marketing. His background has given him a unique perspective on marketing, innovation, and commerce.

Darren has led some of the most award-winning agencies in the world as the Chief Creative and Managing Director, bridging the gap between traditional and digital creative in countries such as the UK, the Netherlands, USA, Canada and Germany.

He has also been lucky enough to work on some on the world’s most iconic brands, such as Mars Group, BBC, Adidas, Braun, Smart, Axe, Sky, Microsoft, P&G and Nike, winning hundreds of awards in shows such as Cannes, LIA, Eurobest, Webby, D&AD, ADC, New York Festivals and One Show. He previously served as Global ECD & Global Chief Creative Technologist at VMLY&R (WPP) and European ECD & Managing Director at Havas Europe.

Darren is known as a thought leader in creativity, technology, and innovation, and over the past decade has been inspiring people in the industry with his books, articles and speaking events.
